Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Leh (Acclimatization Day)

Activities: Arrive at Leh and settle into your hotel. This day is crucial for acclimatization due to the high altitude.
Explore: Stroll around Leh Market, visit Shanti Stupa, or relax at Leh Palace.
Overnight Stay: Leh

Day 2Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (120 km)

Route: Leh – Khardung La – Nubra Valley
Activities: Begin your adventure with a thrilling ride over Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable passes at 18,380 ft, and enter the stunning Nubra Valley.
Highlights: Khardung La Pass, Diskit Monastery, and the sand dunes of Hunder, where you can enjoy a camel ride.
Overnight Stay: Nubra Valley (campsite or guesthouse)

Day 3Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok (160 km)

Route: Nubra Valley – Shyok – Pangong Lake
Activities: Travel along the beautiful Shyok River to reach the breathtaking Pangong Lake, famous for its vivid blue colors and serene surroundings.
Highlights: Pangong Lake, scenic Shyok Valley, and the iconic sunset over Pangong’s waters.
Overnight Stay: Pangong Lake (camping by the lake)

Day 4Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La (160 km)

Route: Pangong Lake – Chang La Pass – Leh
Activities: Begin with an early sunrise at Pangong, then ride back to Leh, crossing the challenging Chang La Pass at 17,590 ft.
Highlights: Chang La Pass, Thiksey Monastery, and Hemis Monastery along the way.

Day 5Leh to Tso Moriri (220 km)

Route: Leh – Chumathang – Tso Moriri
